Both on the nose and on the palate this wine displays lush cherry and blueberry with a hint of wet stone and savory minerality.

The tannin framework has vitality that extends to a round finish.

Fairsing Vineyard’s 2013 Daris Pinot noir is a balanced blend of Dijon 115, Wadenswil, and Pommard selections from the west portion of Fairsing Vineyard.

Aged 10 months in 28% new French oak barrels with a limited production of 255 cases.

Vintage

The 2013 Sullivan Pinot noir is the product of an exhilarating growing year. We observed bud break in mid-April, which was more than a week ahead of schedule and early May brought replenishing rain. Saturating sunshine and warm temperatures persisted from mid-to-late summer providing excellent ripening conditions. Veraison began in early August with grape clusters progressing to full color by the first of September.
